04.01.2012: OBITUARY:Shri R M Chattani, Retd DE and Life Member of East Vidarbha Branch (Maharashtra State) of AIBSNLREA lost his mother aged 80 years on 03.01.2012. AIBSNLREA offers heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.

22.11.2011: OBITUARY:Shri B S Nimje, Retd DGM and life member of AIBSNLREA, Nagpur lost his elder son Chi Sanjay Nimje, Sr Officer in CBI on 18.11.2011 following brain hemorrhage. He was at the age of only 44 years. AIBSNLREA deeply mourn his untimely death and convey heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.

13.11.2011: OBITUARY:Shri V V Adbe, retired Sr SDE and life member of AIBSNLREA, Nagpur Branch (Maharastra State) passed away on 28th October, 2011 after prolonged illness. AIBSNLREA join the bereaved family to mourn the sudden death of Shri Adbe.

10.06.2011:OBITUARY : Shri B P Tichkule, Retired Sr SDE and a Life Member of AIBSNLREA, East Vidarbha Branch at Nagpur passed away on 06.06.2011 after a brief illness. He was at the age of 70. The members of AIBSNLREA, East Vidarbha Branch condoled his sudden death. May his soul rest in peace.

24.03.2011:OBITUARY – SHRI D S R KRISHNAIAH, ASST FINANCIAL SECRETARY OF EAST GODAVARI BRANCH LOST HIS WIFE: Shri D S R Krishnaiah, Asst Financial Secretary of our East Godavari Branch (AP State) lost his wife on 22.03.2011 in a tragic circumstances. Shri Krishnaiah had undertaken some renovation work at his residence in Kakinada and engaged some labouers for this purpose. He went out for some time leaving his wife alone in the House. In the evening, when he returned, he found his wife in a pool of blood. The rear-side door of the House was found open. It is suspected that this might be the handiwork of these labourers. This is really a tragic incident. We mourn her untimely death and convey our heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.

15.03.2011:OBITUARY – SHRI S L DRAVEKAR, ORGANISING SECRETARY (WEST), AIBSNLREA IS NO MORE: Shri S L Dravekar, our Organising Secretary (West) expired in the late afternoon of today (16.03.2011) due to massive heart attack. He was being taken to Hospital for receiving medical attention. But he breathed his last on his way in the vehicle itself. When he was in service, he served the then Telecom Engineering Supervisors’ Association i.e. Junior Telecom Engineers’ Association, Telecom Engineering Services’ Association and AIBSNLEA in different capacities. He was considered as a pioneering leader not only in Nagpur but also in Maharashtra and all CHQs. With his demise, we lost a brave crusader against injustice and odds. His commitment, sincerity and dedication to the cause of the members of the Associations are unparallel. Let his soul rest in peace.

01.02.2010:OBITUARY : Shri M A Despanse, Retired DE and member of Kolhapur Branch (Maharastra) of AIBSNLREA expired on 30.10.2010 due to heart failure. Our heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.

27.01.2010: OBITUARY : S/Shri K K Vaish, Retd AGM Lucknow Circle Office and S K Chandra, Retd ADT Lucknow Circle Office, both Life Members of AIBSNLREA, expired on 22,01.2010 and 25.01.2010 respectively.
